John has over 25 years of experience in IT. He started his sales career with Olivetti and gained valuable knowledge and experience in a variety of organisations, from the likes of the Blue Alligator Company to the Epicor Software Corporation.

He is an experienced team player, skilled in both hardware and software products and in developing and managing customer relationships.

With a rapidly growing customer base at Ivy, John’s expertise will be required to direct the existing sales team to achieve its business goals and expand its geographical reach.

Talking about his appointment John said, “Ivy has substantial momentum in integrating accounting and CRM systems and in streamlining business processes. The company understands the challenges of businesses today and works hard to customise solutions. I see real opportunities for growth here and am excited to be a part of it”.

John’s interest in motorsports has led to an interesting leisure activity. Growing up close to Brands Hatch and Crystal Palace, John nurtured his enthusiasm for motor racing. Having moved to Milton Keynes in 1975, with Silverstone on his doorstep, John joined the Silverstone Marshals Team. As an experienced marshal he was chosen in 2009 to be one of the British marshals at the inaugural Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

This year’s event was held at the prestigious Pegasus Software Ltd Head Office in Kettering, Northants; on Friday 8th February 2013, and feedback has been very positive indeed, especially in clarifying the requirements for RTI.
